Fully made of aluminum with a sturdy clip and a transparent ergonomic grip section the Lamy AL-Star is an attractive pen that is high on function as well as style.
The fountain pen uses a shiny stainless steel nib and features an ink window on the body of the pen to show the level of ink left in the cartridge. It can also use an ink converter (item #LZ24) to fill with bottled fountain pen ink.
The matching ballpoint uses a click top action to activate the point and uses LM16 Lamy ballpoint refills.
The AL-Star rollerball uses a cap to cover the front writing section and is refillable with the LM62/63 Lamy rollerball refills.
